Facilities Assessment Planning 2019 - 2029
 
In 2019 the District engaged with Cordogan Clark and Associates to develop a Facility Assessment Plan.  This long range document identified projects for budget planning purposes related to the operation and maintenance of district facilities.  The Board of Education uses this plan to prioritize and identify capital projects.
Facility Improvement Planning 2023 - 2029
 
In 2022 the District engaged with Cordogan Clark and Associates to develop a Facilities Improvement Plan.  This action came as a direct result of the Strategic Planning Process for the Board of Education.  More than 50 community and district stakeholders identified the need for a plan to be put in place that would set a vision for future.  This process involved focus groups from each campus as well as district leadership.  Our Architects interviewed each focus group and identified projects that were discussed and identified during the interviews.  The result was a plan of possible projects to improve the educational and extra/co-curricular experience for student and the community.  The Board then prioritized these projects into Phases.  Currently the Board is explore Phase 1 projects and is considering using bonds to fund a portion of these projects.
 
Health Life Safety Survey 2023
 
In 2023 the District engaged with Cordogan Clark and Associates to perform the District's decennial Health Life Safety Survey.  Architects surveyed all facilities to identify projects related to the health and safety of staff and students.  The resulting document will be submitted to ISBE for approval, then packaged into projects for the district to remedy.  The report is expected in December of 2023, with projects commencing the summer of 2024 and continuing through fiscal years 25 and 26.
