Eighth grade students at Coal City Middle School took part in the annual Eighth Grade Career Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The event is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Grundy County and Grundy Area Vocational Center [GAVC].
The students had an opportunity to visit with representatives from nearly 60 businesses, trade groups and organizations, as well as learn more about the various programs of study offered at GAVC. They were also able to take part in hands-on career related activities.
