This year, Coal City High School is offering two levels of American Sign Language. Over 100 students are currently enrolled in ASL classes.
Students in first year American Sign Language have spent much of the year practicing their fingerspelling.
As the year progresses, students will develop their signing skills and their understanding of Deaf culture.
