Coal City High School’s Spanish Honor Society members, under the direction of Kim Sondgeroth, have been busy preparing the Christmas Countdown calendars they are selling as a fundraiser to support an upcoming educational trip. Funds generated from the sale of the calendars will be used to fund a trip to see the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet in Chicago this coming March. The calendars feature 24 pieces of chocolate—one for each day in the month of December leading up to the holiday. The calendars are $10 each and include a packet of hot cocoa, candy cane and holiday tag.
