Fifth Grade students at Coal City Intermediate School participated in the Annual Cupcake Launch on Oct. 15. It was an amazing turnout with over 25 launchers. This year’s winners were Bakery Bazooka made by Kenley Faletti for the air powered category with a launch distance of 319.6 feet. For the manual category, Fling-A-Thing with Lincoln Wren, Lincoln Conor-Mikos and Alex Jeschke had a launch distance of 230.9 feet earning them the first place spot.
