Brock Finch, a four year member of the football team, wears jersey #1 for the Coalers.
Brock is also a member of the wrestling team—where he is a three-time state qualifier. He also participates in Coalers with Character and the Pickleball Club. His plans after high school are undecided at this time. On Senior Night he was escorted by his parents, Scott and Laura Finch.
Brody Widlowski is a four year member of the Coaler Football Team. He also wrestles for the Coalers and is a three-time state place finisher including second place finishes in both 2004 and 2025. Additionally, he participates in Coalers with Character, Drama Club and Pickleball Club. His future plans are to continue his wrestling career at the collegiate level, however he is currently undecided on a location. Brody was joined by his parents, Joe and Misty Widlowski on Senior Night.
Carter Gill is a four year member of the football program. As a Coaler he has also been a member of the basketball team and participates in Coalers with Character and yearbook. His future plans are to attend Joliet Junior College and transfer to a college or university to pursue a degree in business. On Senior Night he was escorted by his parents, Tony and Amanda Gill.
Donnie Ladas is a four year member of the Coalers Football Team. He has also participated in basketball and baseball for the Coers. His post high school plans are to enter into the trades. Donnie was joined on senior night by his parents, Donne and Sarah Ladad.
Ethan Olson is in his fourth year of football with the Coalers. He has also participated in basketball and baseball, and is a member of Coalers with Character. Ethan’s plans are to continue his baseball career at a four year university, and at this time he remains undecided on a field of study. He was escorted by his parents Chris and Sarah Olson on Senior Night.
Drake Stewart is a four year member of the Coalers Football Team. While at Coal City High School he has also participated in baseball. His future plans are to enter Local 176 after graduation. On Senior Night he was escorted by his parents, Brad and Tiffany Stewart.
Mason Garner is a four year member of the football program and is a co-captain this season. He is also involved in wrestling and is a two time state qualifier. Additionally, he is a member of Coalers with Character, Pickleball Club and Drama Club. His plans after high school are to play football at the collegiate level or attend trade school to be an electrician. Mason was joined by his parents, Patrick and Carrie Garner on Senior Night.
Drake Harden is in his third year of football with the Coalers. As a student he is currently enrolled in the Firefighter Academy through the Dwight Fire Protection District. After high school his plan is to follow in his brother’s footsteps and attend lineman school in Tennessee. He would also like to continue in the fire service as a volunteer. On Senior Night he was escorted by his dad, Kevin Harden and his mom, Melissa Harden.
Evan Greggain is a three year member of the Coaler football program. He also participates in wrestling and has been a part of the soccer team as well. Currently, he is undecided about his future plans. On Senior Night he was accompanied by his parents, Dave and Jen Greggain.
Ben Watson is a four year member of the Coalers Football Team. He also participates in Coalers Baseball, Coalers with Character, Drama Club and Pickleball Club. Ben plans on attending a four year university, however he is currently undecided on where. He was escorted by his parents, Keith and Anne Watson on Senior Night.
Noah Houston was joined by his parents, Tracy and Devon Elliott on Senior Night. Noah is a four year member of the Coalers Football program. He is also a member of the Pickleball Club and is a two-time state qualifying wrestler. His future plans are to attend a 4-year university to be decided later this year.
Gavin Berger is a four year member of the football team and is serving as a co-captain this season. A three-sport athlete at Coal City High School he also participates in basketball and baseball. Gavin is also a member of Coalers with Character, Drama Club, Pickleball Club, Math Team, Science Club, and Yearbook. After graduation, he plans on attending a 4-year university and majoring in engineering. Gavin was accompanied by his parents, Kenny and Tiffany Berger.
Landon Frantz is in his first year of football with the Coalers. He is also a member of the track team. After graduation, his plans are to attend Heartland Community College for two years before transferring to Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville to get his degree in engineering. Joining Landon on the field for Senior Night were his dad, Robbie Frantz, his mom, Kating Vining, and his stepdad, Austin Vining.
Gavin VanDuyne has played four years in the football program. While at CCHS, he has also participated in track and field. His plans after graduation are to attend Joliet Junior College. Joining Gavin on Senior Night were his dad, Craig VanDuyne and mom, Meagan VanDuyne.
Josh Blatzheim has been suiting up for the Coalers for all four years of high school. He has also participated in wrestling for the Coalers. After graduation, Josh plans on entering the trades. Josh was joined on the field during Senior Night by his parents, Bree and JR Blatzheim.
Ethan Gubbins is in his first year of football with the Coalers. Following graduation in the spring, Ethan plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. The Coalers thank him for agreeing to serve our country. On Senior Night he was joined on the field by his dad, Tim Gubbins, and his mom, Jen Allen.
Mason Hamilton is the Coalers kicker and he’s been playing football all four years of high school. He has also been a member of the basketball and baseball programs, and is involved in Student Council, fall play, spring musical, FBLA, National Honor Society, Drama Club, POPS, Chorus, Link Leaders, Speech, & Coalers with Character. His future plans are to attend a 4-year university to double major in psychology & criminology. Joining Mason on Senior Night were his parents, Shawn and Nichole Hamilton.
Gaven Vestal is in his fourth year with the Coalers football program. He also participates in basketball, and is a member of FBLA, Coalers with Character, Coaler Creations, and Drama Club. His future plans are to attend a 4-year university and major in a business-related field. Gaven was joined on the field by his parents, Jake and Diana Vestal.
Dane Eaton has been suiting up for the Coalers Football program for four years. He’s also a member of the wrestling team and participates in Coalers with Character. His future plans are to attend Joliet Junior College and major in fire science. Dane was joined by his parents, Joel and Mandy Eaton on Senior Night.
Rowan Fitzpatrick is in his fourth year of football with the Coalers. He’s also been a member of the basketball program. His future plans are currently undecided. Accompanying Rowan on Senior Night were his dad, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and his mom, Mindy Rampa.
Sean Viles is wearing jersey #64 for the Coalers this season, his fourth with the program. After graduation, he plans to attend Joliet Junior College or attend a 4-year university. Sean was joined on Senior Night by his mom, Chasity Olson.
Brandon Rentauskas was joined on the field by Bruno and Tammy Rentauskas. This is his third year in the football program. After graduation, he plans to go into the trades for heavy machinery operating and continuing his landscaping business in the summer.
Wyatt Koehn is a four year member of the Coalers Football program. After graduation in the spring, Wyatt plans on joining the Local 597 Pipefitters Union. On Senior Night he was joined on the field by his parents, Eric and Carly Koehn.
Cade Poyner, a Coalers co-captain, is in his fourth season as a member of the football team. He is a two-time state qualifier in wrestling including a fifth place finish last year. He’s also a member of the Math Team, Student Council, Link Leaders, FBLA, National Honors Society, Drama Club, Student Advisory Committee, POPS, Prom Committee, Spanish Honors Society, Coalers with Character, fall play and spring musical. After graduation, Cade plans on attending a 4-year university to major in engineering. Joining Cade on Senior Night were his parents, Clinton and Gretchen Poyner
Christian Wren is suiting up for the Coalers for the first time this season. As a Coaler he has also participated in Track and Field. His future plans are currently undecided. On Senior Night he was joined on the field by his parents, Jason Wren and Candice Christian.
Trace Wilson is a four year member of the Coalers Football program. Trace is also a member of the Coalers Wrestling team, Pickleball Club, and Coalers with Character. After graduation, Trace plans on attending a 4-year university to study premedicine and is currently undecided on continuing his athletic career. On Senior Night, Trace was joined on the field by his parents, Josh and Danielle Wilson.
