Charlie Coaler, cheerleaders recognized on Senior Night

Eric Van Cleave embodies what it is to be a Coaler. Eric’s energy, enthusiasm, and excitement have been a huge part of the Coalers cheering section over the last three years in his role as Charlie Coaler,  and that was celebrated on Senior Night. Eric has also been involved in Track & Field. His future plans are currently undecided. Eric was escorted on Senior Night by Zack and Brittany Jett. 

 

Cambree Davidson is a four year football cheerleader. During her time at Coal City High School, she’s been involved in Link Leaders, National Honors Society, Coalers with Character, and Drama Club.  Her future plans are to attend a four year university to study occupational therapy and hopefully continue with cheerleading at the collegiate level. Cambree was escorted on Senior Night by her parents, Dale and Amanda Davidson. 

 

Layla Miller is a four year member of the football cheer team. As a Coaler she has also participated in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, POPS, Coalers with Character, Math Team and Link Leaders. Following high school her plans are to attend a four year university. Escorting Layla on Senior Night were her mom, Jamie Ahlers and stepdad, Ryan March and dad and step mom Stephen and Allison Miller.

 

Maddie Regan has been cheering on the Coalers for the past four years. She also participates in the school’s competition and basketball cheer teams. Her future plans are to attend Joliet Junior College to study sonography. On Senior Night, Maddie was escorted by her dad and stepmom, Darius and Gabby Regan and mom, Nicole Sanderson. 

 

Evelyn Wills is a two year member of the football cheer team. During her time at Coal City High School she has participated in Track and Field and is a two time state qualifier. She is a member of the Coal City Theatre Department, Drama Club, Madrigals, Student Ambassadors, National Honor Society and studies in the GAVC Early Childhood Education Program. Her future plans are to attend a four year university and continue in track and field while earning a degree in secondary English education. Evelyn was escorted by her parents, Nate and Heather Wills.
