The Coal City Boy’s Golf team had a season best score of 174, but came up short against a very good Streator team as they scored a 155.
Jaxon Duke golfed a personal best with a 39, and Trevor Walker also had a personal best score of 45.
“It is great to see players getting their best scores as the season gets into the last couple weeks of the season,” said Coach Harlan Kennell.
Also on the course for the Coalers on Tuesday were Kory Lovell, 45; Frankie Ponio, 45; Reed Sulzberger, 46, and Cody Scheer, 52.
The Coalers will be back in action this afternoon—Wednesday, Sept. 10—in a conference matchup with Reed-Custer.
