The Coal City School District is teaming up with Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers to provide free sports physicals for its student-athletes entering seventh and eighth grades and grades 10-12. The physicals will be given Tuesday, June 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coal City High School. No appointment is necessary—all students who attend during the scheduled time will receive a physical. Parents do not need to attend, however they must complete and send with their student the attached IHSA/IESA medical eligibility form. Those attending are asked to enter through the administrative entrance on the north side of the school.
Students entering grades 6 and 9 must have a full school physical in order to register—contact your healthcare provider to schedule an appointment.
Questions regarding the free sports physicals for students in grades 7-8 and 10-12 can be directed to Brad Boresi, Coal City High School athletic director.
