Students in Ms. Foley’s second grade class had a STEM activity where they learned about simple machines. Each group received a ruler, spoon, tape, cardboard roll, and the main attraction, a Peep. The groups designed their launcher, tested, and made modifications to their design. The team that launched their Peep the furthest, had a distance of 143 inches. No Peeps were harmed during this activity.
