Character was the trait students at Coal City Middle School have been focused on as each month they work on a new character trait.
Recognized for outstanding character were:
Sixth grade—Riley Peters and Mitchell Jessen
Seventh grade—Olivia Ferrari and Troy Larson
Eighth grade—Sophia Holzinger and Alexander Niccola
Encore—Patrick Doerfler and Morgan Schnuckel
Each of the students received a certificate and McDonalds gift card. Confidence and self-worth is the next area of focus.
