Face of shapes in kindergarten art

The kindergarten students in Mrs. Brncich’s art class at the Early Childhood Center have created portraits inspired by artist Paul Klee.

The students looked at a fun, colorful, geometric portrait painted by Paul Klee and took time to find shapes hidden in the artwork. They noticed that Klee used unexpected shapes to create different parts of the face, like a triangle for an eyebrow and squares for lips.

The students got creative with shapes and designed their own portrait using shapes! Check out the full gallery on Artsonia, https://www.artsonia.com/museum/gallery.asp?project=2709245
