Mr. Kostbade’s Environmental Science class at Coal City High School recently took a field trip to the Coal City Area Club.
The students conducted a battery of water quality tests from various locations in the recreation club.
Students were hosted by Area Club board member Georgette Vota, who took a team out in a boat to gather data on water depth and transparency. Not only are students required to know the proper procedure for performing these tests, but they are also required to know the relevance of the results.
