Each month during the academic year students at Coal City High School will be recognized for displaying a selected character trait. The students are nominated by teachers within academic departments and staff. Principal Art Stafford announced the September Students of the Month during an all school assembly last week. The four students selected were nominated for displaying kindness to students and staff. Honored students were Emma MeMarse, Kylie Jackson, Chessa Kuhel and Jackson Wharrie.
