Integrity was the character trait students at Coal City Middle School have been focused on in the past month. Each month during the academic year, the school has focused on a new character trait and students have been recognized by their teachers for displaying the select trait. The final character trait awards for the school year were handed out on Wednesday.
Recognized for their integrity were:
Sixth grade—Derek Maxwell and Melody Leman
Seventh grade—Emma D’Orazio and Camden Schott
Eighth grade—Grace Sitar and Gage Kraus
Encore—Melody Leman and Carson Dearth
Each of the students received a certificate and McDonalds gift card.
