Mrs. Housman’s fourth grade class took some time to learn about different family traditions and cultures.
“A brand new student has recently joined our class and this student was happy to share some of his family traditions and customs with the class,” Mrs. Housman said.
Students learned about different celebrations and the way celebrations in the United States differ from those around the world. The class was also able to enjoy some hispanic music and made their own maracas to take home.
“It was great to watch our students learn about each other’s cultures and family traditions,” the teacher shared.
