Ms. Horrie’s Math 7 Plus class at Coal City Middle School just finished its first unit on real numbers.
The students will be starting a new unit next week on proportional relationships. Students also have been doing quite a bit of review on integer operations.
The Math 7 classes are almost through the first unit on rational numbers.
“There are quite a few rules to learn once negative numbers come into the mix. They are doing very well, though,” said Ms. Horrie.
