Back-To-School

Welcome Back
for the 2026–2027 School Year
We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another outstanding school year at Coal City Schools!
The first day of school for students is Monday, August 17. Before the first day, families are encouraged to participate in our Orientation and Back-to-School Night activities. These events provide an excellent opportunity to meet teachers, tour school buildings, and get ready for a successful start to the year.
This Back-to-School page is designed to be your resource for important information as you prepare for the new school year. Throughout the next couple of weeks leading up to opening day, we will continue to update this page with helpful resources.
If you have not yet completed your student's registration for the 2026–2027 school year, please do so as soon as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year.
We look forward to seeing everyone soon and wish all of our students and families a fantastic school year. Welcome back, Coalers!
